This t-shirt transfer design is actually a rip-off of the original, Pray for Kennedy Psalm 109:8, which was very popular among Christian rightists until November 22, 1963, when it suddenly became scarcer than hen's teeth.
Here's one explanation, offered by a defender of David Vitter: "I'm a huge fan of hypocrisy, since the alternative is apparently a world without standards for anyone, lest someone be called a hypocrite."
