You've probably heard by now that six members of the Sam
Walton clan (i. e., heirs of the Walmart fortune) are worth
$93 billion. That's more than the combined wealth of the
100,000,000 Americans who constitute the bottom 30% of
the economic ladder of the United States. How did this
grotesque fact come to pass? Cheap labor, stateless
corporations, and an Okie named Sam Walton.
Do not forget the efforts of those 100,000,000 Americans who think they are getting a good deal at Walton's House of Shame.
