India is always billed as 'the world's largest democracy'.

If that were so, why are India's doctors and medical students

on strike, protesting the government's attempt to reserve a

higher number of opportunities for 'lower caste' people to

enter the 'higher caste' professions, like medicine? So far, the

strikers haven't started whining, "Reverse Discrimination!"

But, in time, following the American example, they no doubt will.
