Up until very recently, Cindy McCain has described herself

as an 'only child'. Now we know she has two half-sisters: one

by her father's first wife and one by her mother's 'previous

relationship' with another man. One could say she is a liar,

but that would be trite. Better to say that she has enriched

the meaning of 'only'.
