Before she ran for mayor of Wasilla, Sarah Palin had been a

member of the Alaskan Independence Party. The ultimate

goal of this party is for Alaska to secede and become an

independent nation. Joe Vogler, founder of the party, once

said, "The problem with you John Birchers is that you are

too damn liberal!" He also said, "I'm an Alaskan, not an

American. I've got no use for America or her damned

institutions." From this perspective, 'putting country

first', like John McCain does, would be a sure sign he's

a commie pinko.
