David Brooks likes to put things into boxes.

The children on the left, for example, are

living in what he calls 'Economy II' and are

Democrats, while the child on the right is 

living in what he calls 'Economy I' and is

a Republican.  As you can see, the world 

according to David Brooks is very easy

to understand.  That's why he is a 

writer for the New York Times.
