Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says county clerks
can follow their religious beliefs and not issue marriage
licenses to gay couples.  What if the county clerk's religious
beliefs also preclude issuing marriage licenses to couples
when either or both are divorced, to couples when either
or both are transgendered, to interracial couples, to
interfaith couples, or to couples when either or both are
Satanists, Wiccans, atheists, or any other cult, sect,
denomination, or religion the clerk opposes?
What then?
