Why are anti-government forces in Iraq and Afghanistan
called 'insurgents', while those in Libya are called 'rebels'?

It has been said that the first victim in a war is truth. In Libya, however, it has to be irony.

But then, when you think about it, how often does irony fail to trump truth?

I believe there's a category called 'Ironic Truth' that's neither fish nor fowl, sort of a hybrid or, perhaps, a mutation caused by radioactivity.
