I still can't get by the remark I heard her make this morning about her being the "point of the sphere" in some matter or other. I have been sitting here holding a small green sphere and trying to find the point.
My guess is she failed geometry.
She can't talk for a whole minute without saying something that is right up there with George W.

Didn't you mean to say "right down there with George W.?"

I thought she said "spear" but my hearing is not so good....

"I am the wind on the sea.
I am the ocean wave.
I am the sound of the billows.
I am the seven-horned stag.
I am the hawk on the cliff.
I am the dewdrop in sunlight.
I am the fairest of flowers.
I am the raging boar.
I am the salmon in the deep pool.
I am the lake on the plain.
I am the meaning of the poem.
I am the point of the spear.
I am the god that makes fire in the head.
Who levels the mountain?
Who speaks the age of the moon?
Who has been where the sun sleeps?
Who, if not I?"

Woops! We are in deeper doo-doo than we thought.

You are probably right marlu. I have lost about 30 percent of my hearing in the last couple of years and things seem to get a little garbled now as well.
I would apologized to her but it would have to be right after I apologize to the "W" which ain't likely to happen.

But, Oldfool, I think you would agree that 'point of the sphere' is more mentally stimulating than 'point of the spear'.

Agreed. Besides it is what I wanted hear. Like George W she makes me feel smart when she talks.

If she keeps talking, Oldfool, you may start feeling like your IQ is 210+, which, I believe, is as high as an adult IQ can go. Feels good, doesn't it?
