"The science is not settled on global warming. The idea
that we would put Americans' economy at jeopardy based
on scientific theory that's not settled yet to me is just
nonsense. Just because you have a group of scientists who
stood up and said here is the fact. Galileo got outvoted
for a spell."  [Rick Perry, Wednesday, 9/7/2011]

"Texas endured the hottest summer ever recorded by a
U.S. state with temperatures averaging 86.8 degrees,
scientists said Thursday." [UPI, Friday, 9/9/2011]

Up early there Fearguth.

There's a lot to do with the likes of these dummy's.

Blogtime is Pacific Time, so it's not quite so early here in Central Time.

Can you imagine what a climatologist with a Ph.D. in the hard sciences thinks of an Aggie whose GPA was 2.22?

Plus the rest of the world.

Yet the Ph.D. will be made out to be the dummy.

I wish someone had rejoined, "Hey, Rick! Tell us all you know about Galileo."

I imagine that all he knows about Galileo he just said. Any speech about his knowledge of science would be short.

Not so much a speech as an interjection, like 'Faugh!'
