While America has been 'conversing' about gun con-

trol since the Newtown shooting on December 14, 

another 146 Americans have died from gunshot wounds. 

That's an average of 18 gun-related deaths a day, almost 

as many as the number of children killed in the Sandy 

Hook Elementary School massacre.
