Inspired by Trump, Paul Krugman adds 'Derp Spiral'

 to America's political vocabulary.

"Good evening, friends of the Dinner Sanctum. This is 

Raymond, your host. I'm glad you came tonight, because 

our guests insisted on having each other for dinner."

In a piece for The Daily Beast with the title, "Paul 

Krugman's Nasty and Inane Attack on 'Libertarian

Populism'," Nick Gillespie describes Professor 

Krugman as a dime-a-dozen self-blinkered public 

intellectual shut-in who stinks.  One supposes that

the professor will think twice before he dares annoy

the Black Leather Boy from Reason again.

Carmen Reinhart, Harvard's spec-

tacularly mistaken economist, calls

Princeton's Paul Krugman 'spec-

tacularly uncivil'.  World yawns.

"I'm strong to the finich 

Cause I eats me spinach."

So what if Paul Krugman has been awarded

 the John Bates Clark Medal from the American 

Economics Association and the Nobel Memorial

 Prize in Economics.  Joe Scarborough has 

received the 'Friend of the Taxpayer Award' 

from Grover Norquist and the 'Spirit of Enterprise 

Award' from the U. S. Chamber of Commerce.

We may not live, as Paul Krugman says, in a 'Mad Max

 World' (at least not yet).  But Mad Max certainly lived 

in an 'NRA World'.

Although you can't see it from this angle, Rich Hart, 

Paul Ryan's mentor in economics, is standing on

a copy of Paul Krugman's economics textbook.  It 

makes Professor Hart look taller than he actually is.

As Paul Krugman has said, "Newt Gingrich is

 a stupid man's idea of what a smart man

 sounds like."

"Krugman says the GOP has the emotional maturity of

a bratty 13-year-old. Sounds to me like he's being much,

much too considerate!"
