Speaking of this, and being the age and horse lover I am--I always though they ought to stuff Roy and put him on Trigger and exhibit them both. And I'm NOT joking. He would have loved it.

One of the epigraphs to Tom Robbins' Even Cowgirls Get the Blues reads as follows: "I told Dale, 'When I go, just skin me and put me on top of Trigger.' And Dale said, 'Now don't get any ideas about me'."
