You've probably heard by now that six members of the Sam
Walton clan (i. e., heirs of the Walmart fortune) are worth
$93 billion. That's more than the combined wealth of the
100,000,000 Americans who constitute the bottom 30% of
the economic ladder of the United States.  How did this
grotesque fact come to pass?  Cheap labor, stateless
corporations, and an Okie named Sam Walton.
