Remember when we were afraid that JFK would take his marching orders from the Pope? And that Pope was a decent sort.

Now the Republican/Teabaggers are thrilled that The Frothy One is taking orders from Der Popenfuhrer.

Oh, yes! In 1960, I was 18 and not yet old enough to vote. But had I been able to, I would have voted against JFK: not because he was a Yankee, not because he was a liberal, but because he was a Catholic.
