Sure, Sheldon Adelson violated the Foreign Corrupt
Practices Act.  He would violate the Domestic Corrupt
Practices Acts, if we had one.  The way he sees it is this:
what's the difference between bribing foreign officials 
and bribing members of Congress?

I wish we lived in a world where this pile of excrement would go to jail but it ain't going to happen. Maybe the Chinese? Yeah, I doubt it too.

The difference is that bribing foreign officials costs more. Congress members sell out cheap.
