The Burger Dog was first invented in the 70s by Der Weinersnitzel. A hot dog chain that used to be all over the place back then. I ate there a lot back in high school. Lost a girl friend over that place.

Wienerschnitzel (as it's called now)is still around, with three locations in the Metroplex. I ate there once or twice back in the day, but I don't remember the Burger Dog.

The place that exists now is crap. They made a big to-do when they first opened as if they were the original restaurant coming back but it was a lie.
