The Flogging Dutchman Begins to Flag

From the Pacific Northwest, we hear that Gerard Van der Leun
has launched another rocket into the blogosphere. Initial
reports say it flew up his own fundament and blew the Seattle
patrician into more plebeian parts than could be counted.

Meet Gerard Van der Leun, one of the

brightest luminaries in the conservative

firmament. His least favorite food object

is the burrito, which he has described as

a "hand-wrapped garbage disposal delight."

Another reason he finds the burrito revolting

is it is a metaphor for democracy, especially

the off-white version that dares march in his

Seattle streets.
