When the pundits aren't talking about President

Obama's 'centrism', they're talking about his

'pragmatism'.  But, as A. O. Lovejoy pointed out

long ago, there are thirteen different varieties

of pragmatism.  So, which variety does the

President adhere to?  Alas, nobody knows,

not even the President.
