Scott may well be one of THEM. I thought he was Bat Boy. But his translucence may mark him instead as another exile from the Planet of the Cream Cheese People.
I'm ashamed not to have noticed that myself as I LIVE in Florida. But I thank you for pointing out what was right under my nose.

It's certainly possible that your governor is Bat Boy, too, his Mr. Hyde side, so to speak.
