Rude Rhymes #84

Antic Urn

Tom Coburn

Monday, December 30, 2013

"The tie?  Oh, Ben Franklin obviously
wouldn't approve, but it's a loaner from
Fearguth's Ludicrous Librarian Legacy
Collection."

Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) Suggests President
Obama Could Be Impeached for His Intentional
Mishandling of Hurricane Katrina

"Erick, the son of Erick?  Wasn't he the Viking wannabe
who was fired by CNN, The Most Trusted Name in News?"

Senator Coburn's Cat

Tuesday, May 21, 2013

It didn't take long for the world to realize that Tom
Coburn was nothing more than a run-of-the-mill
street thug.

Okie from Muskogee Embraces Member
of Liberal Sleeper Cell

Thursday, May 03, 2012

"Speaking just in terms of logical fallacies, Mr. Lankford,
I would have to say your forehead is a Slippery Slope
and your Adam's apple is, well, a perfect example of
the Reductio ad Absurdum."

"Call now, and I'll double your order.  All you have to pay is
shipping and handling.  This makes an excellent paperweight,
bathroom tissue, or doorstop!"
Speaking of government waste, can you imagine how much
money was spent printing Senator Tom Coburn's magnum
opus, Back in Black: a Deficit Reduction Plan?  One can
only hope it's now being used in Oklahoma privies, one
page at a time, to help reduce another kind of waste.

“It’s just a good thing I can’t pack a gun on the Senate floor,
or I'd make the caning of Senator Charles Sumner (R-MA)
by Senator Preston Brooks (D-SC) look like a pillow fight."

How fitting it is that Oklahoma, the state which blessed
us with Senator James Inhofe and Senator Tom Coburn
(famous climate change deniers), has just enjoyed the
nation's highest monthly average temperature
(89.1 degrees) ever.  Swelter, suckers, swelter!

"As a member of the Senate's Gang of Six, I'm setting my
sights on people who are sucking off."

Friday, May 27, 2011

Not only is Senator Coburn unrepentant
for being John Ensign's 'fixer', but also,
he says, "I am proud of what I did and
the way I did it."  If you don't see things
the way the Senator does, it's probably
because you're not a member of The
Family and a Christian obstetrician
 from Oklahoma.
The only thing sillier than a shrimp on a treadmill is
Tom Coburn speaking on the Senate floor.

"I am no longer a member of the Gang of Six.  I am now a
member of the Gang of One."

Saturday, May 14, 2011

"Relax, Senator Coburn, that call was from Rachel Maddow.
She just wanted to say, 'Hi!'"

Sunday, April 10, 2011

"I love Barack Obama," said Senator Coburn. "I think he's
a neat man. I don't want him to be president, but I still love
him. He is our President. He's my President. And I disagree
with him adamantly on 95% of the issues, but that doesn't
mean I can't have a great relationship. And that's a model
people ought to follow." This was just too good to last,
so five minutes later, Asteroid 2005 YU55 collided with
the Earth, causing the greatest mass extinction since the
end of the Cretaceous Period, 65 million years ago.
